Fidelity International has promoted from within for the newly-created role of Managing Director, Asia ex-Japan. The role will integrate the Institutional, Intermediary and Defined Contribution business channels.
Fidelity International has appointed Daisy Ho as Managing Director, Asia ex-Japan. Ho will be based in Hong Kong and report to Mark Talbot, Managing Director, Asia Pacific.
The firm says that this newly-created role reflects the convergence in needs and services between wholesale distributors and institutional clients.
Ho (pictured left) has been with Fidelity since 2005 and previously held the roles of Head of Institutional Business, Asia ex Japan, and Director, Head of Institutional Business Development Asia.
Earlier this month Fidelity International appointed Alva DeVoy as new Managing Director Australia, based in Sydney.
