The Former Head of Private Banking at ABN Amro Southeast Asia has moved across town to join the growing ranks at EFG Singapore.
EFG Singapore integrated the BSI Singapore business in November 2016. EFG Bank has also shown its intention to grow organically and continues to recruit senior Client Relationship Officers and add to the management team.
To this end the management team has been strengthened by the recruitment of Lee Chang Tze as the Deputy CEO and the Co-Head of Private Bank, the bank said in a statement to finews.asia.
Chang Tze was previously ABN Amro's Head of Private Banking for Southeast Asia. He was also ABN Amro’s location Head for Singapore where he supervised the products and solutions team and shared responsibilities for credit risk management, compliance and human resources.
He has more than 26 years’ experience in private banking and was initially a private banker covering the Indonesian market.
In the new role Chang Tze will be working alongside Oliver Balmelli who is also Deputy CEO and Co-Head of Private Bank. Balmelli is a Swiss national and has been in Singapore for more than 10 years. He was the Business Head for BSI Singapore.
They will report into Kong Eng Huat the CEO for the branch and the South East Asian markets. Eng Huat (Pictured above) is also a board member of EFG Asset Management and EFG Wealth Solutions in Singapore.
