Swiss private bank J.Safra Sarasin has made another addition to its growing team in the Lion City. The Basel headquartered bank has been steadily adding to its Asian business units over the past months.
Non Resident Indian (NRI) specialist Sumit Chaturvedi has joined the bank as an Executive Director, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed to finews.asia.
Prior to taking up the role with J.Safra Sarasin Chaturvedi was Team Head at ANZ managing a team of wealth managers for the NRI business in Singapore.
Hiring in Asia
Before joining ANZ Chaturvedi spent several years with Citibank in Singapore and India where he also managed client relationships of high-net-worth individuals in the NRI segment.
Last month the Swiss bank added to the Hong Kong business with the appointment of Masaki Sugawar as Managing Director, Client Advisory. He joined J. Safra Sarasin from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, where he was Director, Japan Market.
