British asset manager abrdn has reportedly hired a former Credit Suisse executive focused on compliance and risk.
Ho-Loon Kong joined abrdn as its Singapore-based APAC chief risk officer, according to a report by «efinancialcareers».
Kong previously worked at the now-defunct Credit Suisse for five years, first as chief compliance officer for Singapore, Southeast Asia and India before being named as head of regulatory relations for the whole Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, he also worked at Bank of America for a decade.
