The coming together of the two firms will make the new entity among the top 10 largest law firms in Singapore and will be the only international law firm to have an office in Brunei Darussalam.
Following approval from the Singapore Ministry of Law, Eversheds Harry Elias (EHE) is live as of 1st June 2017 and has 29 partners, over 80 fee-earners and more than 170 people. The firm’s managing partner is Philip Fong.
EHE is a full-service international firm providing clients with access to the resources of the global Eversheds Sutherland (ES) network, together with the local expertise and legal capability of one of Singapore’s largest domestic firms.
