Juerg Hunziker: Avaloq's Number-One
Avaloq's co-founder and long-standing Chief Executive Francisco Fernandez handed over the reins to Juerg Hunziker shortly before year-end. A veteran of Sungard, Hunziker joined the Swiss banking software firm more than two years ago as Fernandez' deputy and as operating chief. His job? Chase potential acquisitions, expand internationally, and lead the firm's 2,000-person firm towards an initial public offering as soon as 2020.
