A Swiss manager of investments into renewable energies is expanding to Asia and has appointed a local expert to lead its team in Singapore.
Wymen Chan will head the investment team of Susi Partners in Singapore, the Swiss company said in a statement on Wednesday (in German).
Chan has worked for Armstrong Asset Management and Maybank, specializing in sustainable energy infrastructure investments in Southeast Asia. He will start at Susi in September.
Strategic Expansion Plan
Susi is based in Zug, Switzerland, and focuses on sustainable infrastructure investments. It has four funds under management, aimed at investments in renewable energies, energy efficiency as well as storage.
Tobias Reichmuth, the founder and CEO of Susi Partners, said that Chan would help the company with its bid to internationalize the business: «Asia is an important market for our strategic expansion plans.»
Institutional Investors
Chan will spearhead the Susi Asia energy transition investment strategy for Southeast Asia, which is designed to open access to such investments for institutional clients and to yield an annual return.
