Natixis Investment Managers has hired a former Franklin Templeton veteran as the chief executive for its Singapore unit.

Natixis Investment Managers Singapore appoints Dora Seow as CEO, according to a statement, effective October 10. Based in Singapore, she reports to the head of Asia Pacific Fabrice Chemouny.

Seow joins from Franklin Templeton where she had 20 years of experience, most recently as the country head for Singapore. Previously, she was also the head of distribution for the regional institutional and wholesale business.

Natixis Investment Managers was established in Asia via Tokyo in 2001 and has since added offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, Sydney, and Beijing. In Singapore, Natixis aims to build up investment capabilities in emerging markets fixed income, and Asian equities.
