Singapore-based wealth tech firm WRISE has hired former executives from Bank of Singapore and Credit Suisse to senior positions in Asia.
WRISE appoints Helen Lam as group chief operating officer and Gaven Koh as group head of risk and compliance, according to a statement, based in Hong Kong and Singapore, respectively. The two will both report to chairman Derrick Tan.
Lam has 20 years of experience, most recently at Bank of Singapore as its head of business management for Greater China and North Asia. Previously, she also worked at Citi Private Bank and Deutsche Bank.
Koh has over 12 years of private banking experience, most recently at Credit Suisse where he led a team of 30 compliance analysts across APAC. Previously, he also held compliance-related leadership roles at other financial institutions after serving as an investigator with the Singapore Police Force.
Founded in 2022, WRISE is headquartered in Singapore and also has branch offices in Hong Kong and Dubai.
