The asset management arm of Lazard has hired a former Capital Group executive for its China business.
Lazard Asset Management has appointed Ada Zhang as director of China sales, according to a statement, based in Hong Kong. In the role, she will leverage the firm's Asia ex-Japan distribution team to service existing clients as well as lead strategic initiatives to drive continued growth in the region. She will also spearhead the business development strategy for onshore China, alongside Ken Fan, senior advisor for China.
Prior to joining Lazard, Zhang spent 11 years at Capital Group Investment Management where she held the position of managing director and head of Greater China, institutional.
