London-headquartered HSBC has hired a former Citi banker to lead its international wealth hub in Singapore.

HSBC has appointed Jil Chin as head of international wealth hub for Singapore, according to a statement, reporting to Ashmita Acharya, head of international wealth and premier banking, HSBC Singapore. In the role, Chin will oversee the scaling of the bank’s offshore business in Singapore through new client growth, deepening client relationships and fostering stronger cross-border collaboration.

Chin has over 22 years of wealth management and retail banking experience. She was most recently Citigold & Citigold Private Client banking director for wealth management at Citibank Singapore.

«Our ambition is to be Singapore’s leading international bank for both onshore and offshore clients across the wealth continuum.
