Liechtenstein-based LGT's onshore wealth management unit in India has named a chief investment officer for equities.

LGT Wealth India has appointed Chakri Lokapriya as chief investment officer (CIO) – equities, according to a statement, reporting to managing director and CIO Rajesh Cheruvu.

Lokapriya has 25 years of investment management experience, most recently serving as managing director and CIO at TCG Asset Management. Previously, he also worked at J.P. Morgan, BNP Paribas and Franklin Templeton.
