OCBC’s private banking arm has appointed a market head and chief representative for its Philippines office, finews.asia has learned.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Melanio Manjoy Lazaro as market head and chief representative of its Philippines representative office, according to a note seen by finews.asia. Lazaro will be responsible for growing the franchise in the Philippines with a focus on deepening relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and families. In the role, he reports to Robin Heng, co-head of private banking, Singapore.
Lazaro has more than 30 years of experience, including over a decade with Bank of Singapore. He was most recently the bank’s interim chief representative of its Philippines representative office after being appointed to the role in September 2023.
