A former HSBC banker has joined Hong Leong to lead its wealth management business.
Jeffrey Yap has joined Malaysia-headquartered Hong Leong Bank as its regional head of wealth management, according to a LinkedIn post, overseeing the group’s wealth and private banking business.
In the role, he will look to implement a comprehensive wealth continuum strategy, accelerate digital transformation, develop innovative investment solutions and advisory services, build a platform that leverages the bank's Asian network and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in wealth advisory.
