The firm is opening a policy and regulatory consulting affiliate in the city-state to tap on its growing economic prominence.
Crowell & Moring International, the government affairs and public policy firm affiliated with Washington D.C.-based law firm Crowell & Moring LLP, is opening a strategic hub in Singapore to cater to global businesses and advise them on Asia's evolving policy and regulatory landscape.
Known as C&M International, the office is the firm's second in Asia after its opened its doors Shanghai less than one year ago, and signals its global growth, it announced in a statement on Tuesday.
Singapore's Growing Role
Leading the new office is Clark Jennings, managing director, Asia. He will focus on digital transformation and related policy developments in Asia, the statement said. Jennings was a former member of the National Economic Council, where he helped coordinate the Omaba administration's trade agenda, and was chief of staff at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
