1. For Women: Avoid Cheap
Women in finance are forced to walk a fine line: fashionable can come off as cheap, but tasteful can be interpreted as boring (click here to read more). If women choose to wear make-up, it should be discreet and matte. Hair should be minimally styled; resist the urge to tease hair into an unnaturally high volume or try out a daring peekaboo style you don’t wear in everyday life (see point 3, «Dress the Part»). Before sitting for a photo, go over your outfit with a lint roller.
