The firm's former head of Asia fixed income and head of asset management in Singapore is taking on a new role as head of asset management investment strategy for Switzerland and EMEA.

Credit Suisse's Alexandre Bouchardy is relocating to Switzerland, where he will be in charge of the investment strategy for EMEA and aligning it with the firm's global house view in his new role, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia.

In his new role, Bouchardy is tasked with growing solutions for clients and strengthening relationships with international and Swiss investors. In addition, he will aim to strengthen collaboration across asset classes and reinforce the firm’s relationship with distribution partners. He will also sit on the bank's global investment committee. He reports to René Küffer, head of balanced solutions, and Michel Degen, head of asset management Switzerland & EMEA.

Bouchardy joined Credit Suisse in Zurich in 2002 as a portfolio manager. He relocated to Singapore in 2012 to head its Asia fixed income team, taking on the additional role of head of asset management Singapore in 2017.
