Paris-headquartered Amundi has made senior appointments in Hong Kong and Korea.

Amundi has appointed Marco Tang as deputy CEO, Hong Kong and head of distribution, China and Hong Kong, according to a statement. 

Tang has nearly 25 years of asset management experience in the region, most recently as managing director and head of Asia advisor at Ninety One. Previously, he also worked at Neuberger Berman, Barings, J.P. Morgan, Allianz Global Investors and HSBC.

In addition, the French asset manager also named Jae-Geun Oh as head of institutional business, Korea.

Oh has over 13 years of industry experience serving clients in Korea across the country's sovereign wealth fund, central bank, public pensions and financial intermediaries. Prior to joining Amundi, he worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for five years as an executive director. Previously, he also held business development roles at NNIP, APS Asset Management, Dimensional Fund Advisors, KB Asset Management and DWS.
