US asset manager T. Rowe Price has announced two senior appointments to strengthen its Asia distribution team.

T. Rowe Price has appointed Juliette Lim as head of insurance solutions, Asia ex-Japan, according to a statement, reporting to Hong Kong-based North Asia head of institution George Chow. Lim has more than 20 years of investment and research experience, including senior roles at Sun Life Financial, Prudential Life Hong Kong and UBS Asset Management.

The firm also named Timothy Cheung as senior director, intermediary distribution, Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Glen Lee, Singapore-based head of intermediary distribution, Asia ex-Japan. Cheung has a decade of asset management experience and most recently worked at UBS Asset Management. Prior to that, he also worked at Janus Henderson Investors and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

T. Rowe Price has had a presence in Asia for more than three decades, having opened its Hong Kong office in 1987 and its Singapore office in 1996. In the two hubs, the firm has 30 authorized funds and 25 recognized funds, respectively, in addition to investment solutions tailored for institutional clients across equity, fixed income, multi-asset and private credit. As of 30 November 2024, it had $1.67 trillion in assets under management worldwide.
