Simmons & Simmons launched its dedicated online resource for start-up hedge fund managers in Singapore. What does it do?
The industry obviously likes it as the product is an award winner but will it win over its target group in the Asian financial hub.
Simmons & Simmons LaunchPlus: Singapore, offers a comprehensive support service for emerging managers in Singapore to assist the launch and operation of a new hedge fund management business.
Hong Kong and London Live
The resource builds on the U.K. version for start-ups in London created by the firm’s British hedge fund practice, and the Hong Kong version which was launched in May this year.
As Singapore continues to develop the regulatory environment is also evolving and adapting, with for example the public consultation on Singapore Variable Capital Companies (S-VACC) framework for Singapore domiciled funds, having concluded in April.
Uplift in New Fund Launches

The firm said it has seen a significant uplift in new fund launches in recent months.
