The leadership team of Standard Chartered’s transaction banking has hired former executives of J.P. Morgan, DBS and Bank of America.
Standard Chartered has appointed Mahesh Kini as global head of cash management, Mark Troutman as global head of transaction banking corporate sales and Dhiraj Rajan Bajaj as global head of transaction banking financial institutions sales, according to a statement.
Kini and Troutman are based in Singapore while Bajaj is based in Hong Kong. All three join the transaction banking management team and report to global head of transaction banking Michael Spiegel.
Industry Veterans
Kini has close to 30 years of banking experience in China, India and Singapore. He was most recently head of international banking, APAC, commercial banking at J.P. Morgan. Prior to that, he led global and regional transaction banking teams at HSBC, BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.
Troutman has over 30 years of global experience in transaction banking sales. He joined Standard Chartered in March and prior to that, he held similar leadership roles at HSBC where he was global head of corporate sales and led regional teams across Dubai, Hong Kong, London, New York and Singapore.
Bajaj also joined Standard Chartered in March and before that, he was global head of non-bank financial institutions and APAC head of financial institutions sales for global transaction services at Bank of America.
