4. Crypto Switzerland Looms
The number of Swiss banks as well as jobs has sunk dramatically in recent years. At the same time, new offshoots of finance like fintech and cryptocurrency have emerged – bringing new creation with them.
Admittedly, Lugano and Geneva have dropped in significance for private banking, but Zug (pictured above) and Zurich have benefited from the new entrants. The term «crypto nation Switzerland» is evidence of the evolution of Swiss banking.
