5. Digitalization as Job Creator
The rise of digitization is making many jobs obsolete – but it is also creating jobs, especially in finance. Many firms are tinkering with the relationship between people-intensive advising and other, more standardized work which can be automated.
Many employees left out in the cold in the job market will find other roles within finance. The comparatively high quality of specialized labor in Switzerland speaks for the industry's ability to adapt.
