The 78 business class seats have already been revamped, and at least partly meet first class criteria. First class travellers have considerably more privacy and a recliner and a bed, but the beds are roughly 20 centimeters larger in business class. The high-definition screen is roughly half the size of first class'.

The airline is also catering to couples in business class: both middle seats can be unfolded into a double bed. Business class isn't the place for intimacy though: the resting spot is nestled between other passenger seats on either side.

Perhaps the greatest luxury of all? Passengers can take in the latest stock market moves or news headlines thanks to free wireless Internet service – a service that even Singapore Airlines' passengers in cattle class will enjoy.
