Tsar's Gold from Moscow to Beijing
The Tran-Siberian Express snakes its way from Moscow to Vladivostok over 9,288 kilometers. The «tsar's gold» train is a luxury cruise on tracks with stops in Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Novosibirsk, and Ekaterinburg. Enjoy the rugged Siberian landscape while supping on vodka and caviar tastings.
After a boat outing on Lake Baikal, «Tsar's Gold» continues through the steppe of eastern Siberia, over the Mongolian border to Ulaanbaatar. From the Mongolian capital, the options are to fly home or continue to Beijing for five days. The 16-day trip runs roughly $16,000 per person for couples in the priciest category, and starts at $26,000 for individual travelers.
