A property firm owned by former football player Gary Neville is targeting Asian investors via Singapore with the sales launch of a series of luxury apartments in the UK.
Relentless Developments, in partnership with Salboy Group, has launched sales for a series of luxury apartments in the UK’s Manchester City. The exclusive W Residence includes 217 units, with 60 already sold thus far.
«Singapore is chosen as a natural place to start its sales,» said Relentless Developments owner Gary Neville at a media briefing attended by finews.asia.
According to Salboy co-founder and managing director Simon Ismail, the two firms will be targeting investors from both Asia and the Middle East, with expectations of a 50-50 split in sales.
Sports Career
Neville’s choice to sell Manchester City apartments is noteworthy as he previously spent his entire professional football career with Manchester United from 1992 to 2011. He also had a brief stint in the media sector as a commentator for «Sky Sports» and a columnist for «The Daily Telegraph».
According to Savills data, Manchester – UK’s second largest city after London – saw property prices climb 6.4 percent from April 2022 to April 2023.
