DWS Appoints Singapore Country Officer

German asset manager DWS has announced the appointment of a country office for Singapore.

DWS has appointed Sharon Tan as country officer of Singapore and CEO of DWS Investments Singapore Limited, according to a statement. In the role, she will be responsible for further advancing Singapore’s strategic position as a regional hub for alternatives, Southeast Asia and APAC wealth sales distribution and as a center of excellence for several infrastructure business leads.

She will retain her existing roles as APAC client coverage chief operating officer and APAC head of business development.

Tan has over 25 years of asset management experience, including 11 years at DWS. Previously, she also worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Ernst & Young.
