U.S. fixed income manager Pimco has poached an industry veteran from UBS' asset management arm.
Pimco is hiring Erin Browne as as a portfolio manager focused on asset allocation, the American bond fund manager said in a statement. Browne is an industry heavyweight: she is currently the head of asset allocation for UBS' asset management arm and holds the rank of managing director.

Previous Experience
She is a familiar face as a regular guest on broadcaster CNBC. Before her current UBS role, the Georgetown graduate headed macro investments at UBS O’Connor, the firm’s multi-strategy hedge fund.
Currently based in New York, Browne will relocate to Newport Beach and report to Worah. She also held positions at Point72Asset Management, Citigroup and Moore Capital Management after beginning her career at Lehman Brothers.
