Finalix, a Zug-headquartered consulting boutique with a focus on the financial industry, has hired two consultants to its Singapore practice.
The company announced the addition of Andreas Wenger and Pascal Welschinger to its Singapore team in a post on LinkedIn. The pair will support the firm's Asia-Pacific ambitions as it looks to acquire new local clients and successfully deliver regulatory, digitization and transformation projects.
Senior manager Wenger joins from Swiss regulatory technology solutions provider IMTF, where he was its Singapore-based APAC general manager since 2018. Before that, he spent eight years at Synpulse, including two years as an associate partner at its Singapore office.
Previously With UBS
Welschinger, a manager, previously worked for UBS on a major reorganization of client-facing teams in Singapore and Hong Kong, and on platform and business process change and improvement initiatives. He joined the bank in 2012 and relocated to Singapore in 2015. Before that, he was a consultant at Clariden Lau and Accenture.
The firm, which has a 20-year history in Switzerland, opened a Singapore office in 2019. The second practice in its franchise is led by managing partner Michael Tscherter, who relocated to the city-state to grow the franchise and build a strong project delivery team.
