HSBC expands commercial banking coverage with the creation of a new unit focused on mid-sized businesses in Singapore.
HSBC Singapore's new division will service the domestic and cross-border banking needs of corporations in the city-state that generate around $50 million to $500 million in revenue, according to a statement.
The new division will be led by former head of business banking in Singapore, Ng Li Lian who has been named to the newly created role of head of corporate, Singapore, and report to HSBC Singapore's head of commercial banking Regina Lee.
«This new division, under [Ng’s] leadership and established market knowledge, will accelerate our ability to support Singapore's corporates and will further progress our ambition to be the international bank of choice for businesses in Singapore,» said Lee.
