UBP has hired a seasoned Asia structured products veteran from Julius Baer to strengthen its private banking product capabilities in the region.
Roger Meier joins UBP as Asia head of sales & client trading, according to a statement, reporting to Asia head of treasury & trading Dimitri Platonoff.
Based in Singapore, Meier is responsible for the strategic development of client-related trading propositions and sales linked to FX, structured products and equity derivatives.
Meier is a 30-year financial veteran and he joins from Julius Baer where he led its APAC structured products advisory and sales team since 2010. Previously, he also spent nine years with Credit Suisse.
