Bvlgari, with its Swiss-made watches crafted in Le Sentier, has just launched a limited-edition Octo Finissimo model, created in collaboration with French artist Laurent Grasso. This exclusive release combines sleek minimalism with cosmic motifs, challenging traditional watchmaking conventions.
The watch, designed by Bvlgari's Executive Director of Watch Design, Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, features a striking midnight-blue color scheme.
The titanium bracelet and brass dial are both finished with a matte PVD coating, giving the timepiece a mysterious, ethereal allure.
«Almost Magical Formations»
At the heart of the dial, a screen-printed cloud with iridescent hues symbolizes natural light phenomena, a signature of Laurent Grasso's exploration of the mystical and intangible.

Known for his work in video, sculpture, and installation art, Grasso explains that the cloud represents «unique and almost magical formations» that blur the boundary between reality and illusion. His artistic influence is further acknowledged with his signature engraved on the back of the watch.
Only 200 Pieces Available
This collaboration, limited to just 200 pieces, underscores Bvlgari’s dedication to creative partnerships and bold design. Each watch comes in a blue case, featuring the signatures of both Grasso and Bvlgari, cementing the piece’s collectible status.
The Octo Finissimo series, a staple of Bvlgari since its 2014 debut, draws inspiration from Roman architecture, such as the Basilica of Maxentius, and has set records in thinness and technical precision.
This latest addition exemplifies Bvlgari’s commitment to both innovation and timeless artistry.
