Dutch asset manager Robeco has expanded its sustainable investment unit in Singapore with two new hires and a relocation from its home city Rotterdam.
Robeco hires Ghislaine Nadaud as senior sustainable investing specialist and Rinchen Choegyal as senior sustainable investing research analyst, according to a statement, effective immediately.
Based in Singapore, Nadaud and Choegyal are tasked with providing localized environmental, social and governance (ESG) expertise and they both report to senior manager engagement Peter van der Werf and head of sustainable investing research Rachel Whittaker.
Nadaud has 16 years of industry experience and was most recently with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation where she was headed up its first Asia Pacific ESG solution team.
Choegyal has over a decade of investment experience, most recently with Ruffer Investment Management where he was a co-manager of the Pacific and emerging markets equity portfolio and led the ESG integration process in Asia.
Rotterdam Relocation
In addition, Laura Bosch Ferreté has also relocated from Rotterdam to join the Singapore team as a sustainable investing specialist, tasked with environment and social-related engagement in the consumer goods industry.
She joined Robeco in 2016 and held various Netherland-based roles in the active ownership department.
«I am thrilled to see the team’s expansion which solidifies Robeco’s sustainable investing expertise in Singapore,» said head of sustainable investing Carola van Lamoen. «This is the DNA of Robeco’s investment approach and a core differentiator in our ability to provide the best long-term investment solution to our clients.»
