Copenhagen-based Nordea Asset Management has hired a former PineBridge executive as its head of Asia Pacific distribution.
Nordea Asset Management appoints Anasuya Dhoraisingam as its Singapore-based head of APAC distribution, according to a statement, effective August 1. Based in Singapore, Dhoraisingam is tasked in the newly created role with leading the firm’s business development activities in the region across wholesale and institutional business channels.
Dhoraisingam joins from PineBridge Investments where she was its chief executive for Singapore and Southeast Asia head of institutional sales. She will remain in the role through the end of July.
As of the first quarter of 2022, Norea Asset Management had over 273 billion euros ($273.8 billion) in assets under management.
