The Hong Kong-based unit adds a long-tenured banking veteran as a new partner, finews.asia has learned.
Anthony Chan, a banker with 30 years of experience in corporate banking and wealth management, has joined Avenue Family Office as a partner, sources told finews.asia.
He previously worked at Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse in corporate banking roles, while his stints in wealth management were at Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered Private Bank, Julius Baer, and Nomura. When contacted, a spokesperson for the family office confirmed the appointment.
The Avenue Family Office is a unit in the broader Avenue group. It was established in 2015 to focus on providing a range of wealth management solutions including external private banker services, capital markets, and advisory, trust, succession planning, among others.
