Singlife with Aviva has announced the appointment of a new group deputy chief investment officer.
Allen Kuo joins Singlife with Aviva as its group deputy CIO, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will oversee the implementation of the insurer’s sustainable investment strategy.
Kuo has over 20 years of experience, most recently as director and deputy chief risk officer at University of California’s pension and endowment arm, UC Regents Chief Investment Office. Previously, he also held senior positions at ING Investment Management and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.
Singlife Investment Office
Kuo will be heading the Singlife Investment Office, which was established in January 2022 and tasked with asset allocation, portfolio optimization, manager selection and product solutions.
Other members of the team include senior investment officer Mike Duncan as well as investment officers Shae Kuek, Mervyn Ng and William Chow.
