US asset manager Federated Hermes has appointed a new director for wholesale distribution in Asia Pacific.
Mei Lin Tan joins Federated Hermes as a director of wholesale distribution in APAC, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Tan reports to head of APAC distribution Jakob Nilsson.
Tan has 20 years of asset management and banking experience, most recently at NN Investment Partners where she went five years as senior vice president in Singapore. Previously, she worked at Investec Asset Management and first began her career in the private banking divisions of Merrill Lynch and Julius Baer.
«APAC is a key growth market for us and our products have seen success with a wide range of investors in the region,» said Nilsson.
