UBS’s Amy Lo, Standard Chartered’s Benjamin Hung and other top bankers reportedly accompanied Hong Kong leader John Lee on his trip to the Middle East to strengthen financial ties.
Hong Kong chief executive John Lee is currently on a one-week trip in the Middle East to strengthen ties with the region. The most recent financial development was a signed agreement between Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia’s stock exchanges to explore new collaborative opportunities, including cross-listings.
On his trip, Lee is accompanied by 30 senior figures in financial services, technology and logistics, according to an «SCMP» report citing a list provided by an anonymous source.

Within banking, top leaders include UBS APAC wealth co-head and Hong Kong CEO Amy Lo, Standard Chartered Asia CEO Benjamin Hung, HSBC Hong Kong CEO Luanne Lim, BOC International CEO Li Tong and CICC CEO Huang Zhaohui.
And within asset management, delegates include PAG executive chairman Shan Weijian, Yunfeng Capital chairman David Yu and Chinese Asset Management Association of Hong Kong chair Doris Lian. HKEX CEO Nicolas Aguzin is also a member of the delegation.
