Zurich-based pure-play Julius Baer has announced the appointment of a new head of Southeast Asia.
Julius Baer names Chin Lit Yee as head of Southeast Asia, according to a statement, reporting to executive board member and head APAC Jimmy Lee.
Yee has over 30 years of wealth management experience and first joined Julius Baer in 2015. Previously, he also worked at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan.
Kevin Tay, most recently head of wealth planning and family office services, Singapore, assumes Yee’s previous role as group head Southeast Asia and also reports to him.

In addition, the bank also appoints Yee Kim Tan as Singapore branch manager, reporting to Lee.
This new responsibility supplements Tan's current roles as Greater China (Singapore) location head and group head. In his expanded position, he will oversee the Singapore branch’s daily operations, risk controls, and governance.
