Partners Group Awaits with Surprise
The Swiss private market specialist is set to bolster its board of directors with a prominent figure.
Urban Angehrn, the former Finma director, is slated to join the Partners Group board, the Swiss company announced on Thursday. The election is expected to be put to a vote at the annual general meeting on May 21, 2025.
From Zurich to Finma
Angehrn most recently served as CEO of Finma, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, from November 2021 until September 2023. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2021, he was a member of the management team and Group Chief Investment Officer at Zurich Insurance Group.
In that role, he was responsible for Zurich’s entire investment portfolio, as well as for operational activities, digitalization, and sustainability strategy.
