US insurer Pacific Life Re has announced the appointment of a head of underwriting and claims for Asia.
Pacific Life Re appoints Sujin Park as head of underwriting and claims for its Asia business, according to a statement, based in Singapore. She has more than 20 years of experience in life and health underwriting and claims, previously serving in key positions at insurance and reinsurance firms across South Korea and other Asian markets.
«[Park’s] experience and deep understanding of the Asian markets’ dynamics and regulations will undoubtedly enhance our underwriting and claims capabilities. We look forward to her contributions in driving our growth and innovation,» said global chief underwriting officer Andrew Doran.
Pacific Life Re is a wholly owned subsidiary of California-headquartered Pacific Life. The US insurer works with clients in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America to provide mortality, morbidity, and longevity reinsurance products, funded and capital solutions.
