New York-headquartered Neuberger Berman has strengthened its coverage of single family offices in Asia with a new hire.

Neuberger Berman has appointed Simon Cheung as senior vice president to spearhead the coverage of single family offices in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, according to a statement. In the role, he reports to Greg Wu, head of institutional client group for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Cheung has extensive experience in the financial sector, particularly with regard to servicing single family offices. He previously worked at UBS, China Minsheng Financial, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs.

«[Cheung’s] deep understanding of the single family office landscape will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our capabilities and deliver exceptional service to our clients,» said Wu, who relocated from Taiwan to Singapore last year to assume his newly expanded role.
