Paris-headquartered Crédit Agricole has appointed a head of sustainable investment banking for Japan.

Crédit Agricole has appointed Daisaku Chabata as head of sustainable investment banking for Japan, according to a LinkedIn post.

Chabata has a wealth of experience, most recently being involved in structuring Japan’s government transition financing mandates. He previously worked at Daiwa for 18 years in various roles across capital markets and private equity.

«The Sustainable Investment Banking Japan team will be dedicated to accompany our clients in their transition,» the post said. «The team aims to strengthen and streamline the execution of hashtag#sustainable debt instruments, enhance our clients’ awareness of ESG topics and promote our sustainable culture and expertise in the Japanese market.»
