New York-headquartered Hunter Point Capital has hired an executive previously working at a Middle Eastern asset manager to join as its head of Asia Pacific.

Hunter Point Capital (HPC) has appointed Peter Rosenbloom as managing director, head of Asia Pacific on the capital formation team, according to a statement. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for deepening HPC’s presence and relationships with institutional investors and alternative investment firms in the region. He will work closely with SD Chu, managing director as well as Akira Takahashi, managing director, head of Japan.

Rosenbloom has over a decade of institutional experience with the majority spent in Hong Kong supporting capital raising efforts across Asia. He joins from Bahrain-based private equity firm Investcorp, where he served as partner and head of Asia Pacific institutional capital raising. Prior to that, he was a principal in institutional coverage at KKR where he worked in its New York and Hong Kong offices.

New York-headquartered HPC is an independent investment firm that provides capital solutions to alternative asset managers.
