A former executive from HSBC’s private banking unit has joined a Chinese wealth planning consortium.

Lioner has appointed Andy Leung as managing director in consultancy, according to a statement. He brings a diverse array of services including insurance, trust, and family office advisory services. He has nearly 20 years of financial services experience, most recently as head of wealth planning at HSBC Global Private Banking for the Greater China markets.
