Dutch ING Bank has made a new senior hire in Singapore. The new head of Asian debt syndicate comes from RHB Banking Group.
Winston Tay (pictured left) will join ING Bank's Asian debt syndicate team, effective immediately. He will lead the team from Singapore, where he is responsible for all Asia and Australia, according to a report by news agency «Reuters». He will report to both Ricardo Zemella, ING’s head of debt capital markets and syndicate for Asia, and Eden Riche, the bank’s head of high-yield and emerging market syndicate.
Tay joins ING from RHB Banking Group, having worked as its head of Asia debt syndicate and credit distribution for over a year. Additionally, he has held senior level roles at RBS as its head of debt syndication in South East Asia and ANZ in a similar role, among others.
