International law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the relocation of a litigation and regulatory partner from London to its Hong Kong office.
Marc Thorley who has been a partner in the Simmons & Simmons London office since 2008, will add a wealth of litigation experience to the firm’s dispute resolution practice in Asia.
With a particular focus on financial markets litigation, investigations and contentious regulatory, Thorley will work with colleagues across the firm’s Asian offices. He will also contribute to the firm’s regional offering in corporate litigation.
Asian Expansion
In November last year the firm announced that regulatory approval had been obtained for a new Joint Law Venture in Singapore. The new entity Simmons & Simmons JWS will be able to offer clients both foreign and Singapore law advice.
