Independent global asset manager, Henderson Global Investors, has expanded their distribution team in Australia and opened a new office in Brisbane.
As the firm looks to build deeper business relations with Queensland based financial advisers, Tom Kelly has been recruited into the new role of Sales Director.
Kelly has over 10 years’ experience in financial services covering Queensland and New South Wales, Henderson said in a media release.
Prior to joining Henderson Australia, Kelly (pictured left) spent seven years at BlackRock where he was responsible for developing and maintaining Key Account and Multi Manager relationships.
Henderson claim that despite the challenging market conditions, they have seen solid net flows from both retail and institutional clients across a diverse range of local and global investment capabilities.
