Equity fund manager K2 Asset Management has hired the former head of wholesale sales from UBS Global Asset Management.
Melbourne-based K2 Asset Management has confirmed the appointment of Alistair Dunne to the role of head of wholesale distribution.
Dunne joins from UBS Global Asset Management where from September 2013, he was head of wholesale sales, Australasia. Prior to that he was the national sales manager with the firm.
Before joining UBS Dunne held the role of national sales manager with BT Investment Management.

The firm has also confirmed the appointment of Damian Craven, who joined the firm in January 2017 as head of retail distribution.
Craven was previously the key account manager at the Sydney based boutique investment funds management business Magellan Financial Group.
K2's nine strong investment team is led by joint CIOs Mark Newman and David Poppenbeek. It is wholly owned by K2 Asset Management Holdings which is a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange with the majority owned by the directors and employees of K2.
