With the incumbent retiring, DBS has hired from within to fill the role of Head of Client Management and Implementation.
With this additional role, Soh Ee Fong will leverage her extensive transaction banking experience to build the bank’s client management and implementation capabilities. She joined DBS in 2009 and has grown the SFS business across the Asia.
Soh will also continue to be DBS’ Global Head of Securities and Fiduciary Services (SFS), the bank said in a statement.
Soh takes over the reins from veteran DBS banker Lum Yin Fong, who will be retiring. Lum joined DBS in 2002 and has been instrumental in growing the GTS franchise to the size and scale it is today.
«Under Ee Fong’s leadership, Securities and Fiduciary Services has grown into a significant line of business. We are therefore very pleased to have Ee Fong expand her responsibilities to encompass an area that is central to our overall transaction banking growth strategy,» said John Laurens, Head of Global Transaction Services, DBS.
